Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy
How Electbase subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and when refunds apply.
Effective July 7, 2026
This policy governs paid Electbase platform subscriptions — the plans that publish your campaign site and unlock paid features. It is part of the Electbase Terms of Service. Electbase is a product of BlueList AI LLC, an Arizona limited liability company.
Plans and billing
Electbase is offered on four subscription tiers — Kickoff, Grassroots, Rally, and Landslide — each available on a monthly or annual term. Current prices are shown on our pricing page, which controls over any figure repeated here.
- Build free, subscribe to publish. You can build and preview your entire site at no charge. A paid subscription is required to publish your site to the web and to unlock paid features.
- Paid in advance. Subscriptions are billed up front for the term — monthly plans each month, annual plans once for the year. Annual plans include two months free versus the monthly rate and waive the setup fee.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term at the then-current rate for your tier, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize BlueList AI LLC to charge your payment method on each renewal.
- Payment methods. We process payments through Stripe. Bank transfer (ACH) is our standard payment method; card payments are accepted but may carry a processing surcharge reflecting card-processing costs — paying by ACH avoids it.
- Taxes are your responsibility where applicable and may be added at checkout.
Setup fees
Monthly plans may carry a one-time setup fee (shown per tier at checkout; currently waived as a launch promotion). When charged, the setup fee is non-refundable once your site has been provisioned. Annual plans have no setup fee.
Plan limits — no surprise overage charges
Each tier includes defined limits (for example, supporter-contact capacity and team seats — see the pricing page for the current numbers). We do not auto-charge metered overages. If you reach a limit, we'll prompt you to upgrade to the tier that fits — you're never billed a surprise per-unit fee for exceeding an included allowance.
At a plan limit we apply a soft cap: the supporters and content you've already collected are never locked or deleted for exceeding a limit; only new usage beyond the included allowance is gated until you upgrade.
Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately; the price difference is prorated for the remainder of your current term and charged at the time of upgrade.
- Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, not mid-term. If your usage exceeds the lower tier's limits at that time, you'll be asked to reduce usage or stay on your current tier.
Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time from your dashboard's billing section, via the customer portal, or by emailing us.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your subscription — and your published site and paid features — remain active through the end of the term you've already paid for. It is not cut off immediately on cancellation.
- At the end of that paid term, your site is unpublished (taken offline) and paid features are locked. Your account and content are retained per the section below so you can resubscribe or export.
Refunds
- Monthly plans are non-refundable. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access through the end of the current paid month. We don't prorate or refund partial months.
- Annual plans are refundable within 14 days of the initial purchase or of an annual renewal — a full refund, less any setup fee and less a prorated charge for days the site was published/live during that window. After 14 days, annual terms are non-refundable; you keep access through the end of the paid year and can cancel to stop the next renewal.
- Setup fees are non-refundable once the site is provisioned.
- Discretionary refunds. We may issue a refund or credit at our discretion (for example, a verified billing error or an extended outage on our side). Nothing here limits rights you may have under applicable law.
- How to request: submit a request through our contact form — include the account's email address — within the applicable window.
Failed payments and grace period
If a renewal payment fails or a subscription lapses, your site does not go offline immediately. A 7-day grace period begins, during which your site stays published and we retry payment or you can update your payment method. If the balance isn't resolved by the end of the grace period, the site is unpublished and paid features lock until payment is brought current.
Your data after cancellation
- After a subscription ends (cancellation completed or grace period expired), your account and content are retained for 60 days so you can resubscribe or export your data (site content and your supporter contacts).
- You can export your supporter contacts (CSV) at any time while your account is active, and during the 60-day retention window.
- After the retention window, we may permanently delete the account's site content and data. Published-site backups follow our standard disaster-recovery retention and are not a customer-restore service.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. Any change applies to future terms only — we'll give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect on your renewal, and you may cancel before renewal if you don't accept the new price. Prices you've already paid for the current term aren't affected.
Chargebacks and disputes
If you have a billing concern, contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account and site while the dispute is investigated.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves; we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify active subscribers.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
