Start your campaign the right way.

Here's exactly how onboarding works — including the one step every compliant campaign site needs and most builders skip. Start your profile below to reserve early access.

How onboarding works

Six steps from "I'm running" to a live, compliant site.

01

Tell us your race

Candidate or committee name, office, jurisdiction, and election date. Your site is generated from this.

02

Build & preview free

Refine the generated site in a drag-and-drop editor. Building and previewing is always free.

03

Committee & compliance

Your registered committee name and ID generate a correct "Paid for by" disclaimer — the step that makes your donate page legal.

04

Connect your donate tool

Embed ActBlue, Anedot, or your processor of choice. We're a pipe — we never touch the money.

05

Pick your domain

A free name.electbase.com subdomain or your own, with SSL handled for you.

06

Verify & publish

Once your committee checks out and your disclaimer is correct, you subscribe to publish and go live.

Why we ask for your committee

The paperwork step isn't busywork — it's what makes you legal.

The FEC (and nearly every state) requires a clear "Paid for by [your committee]" disclaimer on your homepage and every page that asks for money. That disclaimer has to name your registered committee — so we collect your committee details up front, generate the disclaimer for you, and confirm it before you publish.

  • Federal committees: we verify your FEC Committee ID (C00…).
  • State & local: we confirm your registration and Statement of Organization.
  • Not registered yet? You can still build and preview — we'll help before you publish.
What you'll want handy
  • Your committee's legal name
  • FEC or state committee ID (if you have one)
  • Treasurer name
  • Which donate tool you use
