SEO & AI search
When a voter asks Google — or an AI assistant — who's running and what they stand for, your campaign should be the answer. This service makes sure it is.

What it is
Every race now has two search problems, and most campaigns are only aware of one. The first is the classic: when a voter types "who's running for school board in your district" into Google, does your campaign show up — or does a news aggregator, an old county PDF, or your opponent? The second is newer and growing fast: voters increasingly ask an AI assistant instead, and the assistant answers in a sentence, not a page of links. If that sentence gets your candidate wrong — wrong office, wrong positions, or no mention at all — the voter never finds out.
This service works both problems together. On the search side: technical SEO, local and entity optimization so search engines understand who your candidate is and what race they're in, structured data that makes your pages machine-readable, and content guidance so the pages you publish answer the questions voters actually type. On the AI side: we monitor what the major AI assistants say when asked about your candidate and your race, track how those answers change, and shape your site and your public footprint so the assistants have accurate, current, well-structured material to draw from.
To our knowledge, no political site builder offers AI-answer visibility as a service. It matters most exactly where budgets are smallest: in down-ballot races with little press coverage, your own site is often the primary source an AI assistant has — which means what it says about you is largely up to what you publish.
How it works with your Electbase site
Your Electbase site is the foundation this service builds on. Every site ships fast, accessible, and structured-data-ready out of the box — candidate, office, and race marked up in the formats search engines and AI systems read. That means the retainer isn't spent fixing a slow, tangled site before the real work can start; it goes straight into the layer above: entity optimization, content strategy, and monitoring. Foundation from the platform, ongoing visibility from the service.
What's included
A search and AI-answer baseline audit for your race · technical SEO on your site · local and entity optimization · structured-data implementation and upkeep · content guidance mapped to what voters in your district search for · monthly monitoring of what AI assistants say about your candidate and race · plain-English reporting on where you show up and what changed.
How pricing works
SEO & AI search runs on a monthly retainer. Search visibility is compounding work — rankings build, entities get established, AI answers update on their own schedules — so it's priced as an ongoing engagement rather than a one-time fix. The full rate card publishes at launch.
Who delivers it
SEO & AI search is run by the team at BlueList, the Democratic political-data firm behind Electbase. BlueList audits how candidates appear across search and AI systems as part of its core work — this service is that practice, applied to keeping your campaign the answer.
SEO & AI search is available for engagements now through BlueList — you don't have to wait for the platform launch. Get in touch via bluelist.ai, or join the Electbase waitlist to get the site half of the equation first.
