What's free?
You can build and preview your entire site for free. You subscribe only when you're ready to publish it to the world.
Is there a setup fee?
A one-time setup fee equal to your first month ($29, $49, $129, or $249). It's waived when you pay a year in full.
How does annual billing work?
Pay a year in full at signup and you get two months free — ten months' price for twelve — plus the setup fee waived.
How many contacts can I have?
1,000 on Kickoff, 10,000 on Grassroots, 50,000 on Rally, and unlimited on Landslide. That's your stored list size and imports — your forms always capture every signup, on every plan, no matter how close you are to the limit.
Need multi-campaign, managed, or bespoke?
See our custom offerings: Slate for consultants and agencies running many campaigns, War Room for a site our staff run for you, and Statehouse for a bespoke build on your own dedicated cloud. All three are quoted per engagement.
Can I use my own domain?
Kickoff publishes on a free name.electbase.com subdomain. Grassroots and every tier above it includes a custom domain with automatic SSL — bring one you already own, or buy one at any registrar and connect it.
Who is Electbase for?
Democratic candidates from school board to Congress, nonpartisan and local races, standing party committees, and PACs or issue campaigns. The platform adapts to your race and office; pick the tier that matches your operation's size, not your ballot line.
Do you take a cut of donations?
No. Electbase is a pipe, not a processor — contributions flow through your own tool, like ActBlue or Anedot. We never hold or touch the money.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Move up as your operation grows; your site, list, and content come with you.
Who delivers the growth services?
Seven of the eight — media buying, fundraising, earned media, The Discoverability Program, ad creative, race intelligence, and managed email & social — are separate engagements delivered by BlueList, Electbase's sister brand and the Democratic political-data firm behind these services. Concierge setup is delivered by the Electbase team. None of them are ever required.
What do the managed services cost?
It varies by engagement — media buying runs one disclosed management fee taken inside your media budget (rate card on request), digital fundraising a percentage of funds raised, and most of the rest (earned media, The Discoverability Program, managed email & social) are monthly retainers, with ad creative and race intelligence priced per project. Concierge setup is a flat $249. The full rate card publishes at launch.
Why will my statement say Bluelist.ai?
Electbase and BlueList are sister brands under the same parent company, BlueList AI LLC, and currently share one billing system — so every charge, whether it's your site plan or a growth service, appears as Bluelist.ai on your card statement. Expected, not a mystery charge.
What is The Discoverability Program?
A free audit of how findable your campaign is — in Google's search results and in what AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity say about you. From there, step up into SEO, AI-answer optimization, or both, tracked on one shared report. Commit to an annual Electbase plan and the setup fee is waived on whichever tier(s) you choose — the same waiver you already get on your site plan. The monthly retainer isn't discounted, just the setup.
