Guides for campaigns running on Electbase

Connecting Reach to your Electbase site

Reach is a relational organizing app, and your campaign's Reach program has a join link that brings a supporter into it. Put that link on a button on your site and you are connected. Reach publishes no way for another platform to add people to a campaign, so Electbase cannot send your supporters into Reach, and nothing comes back. Available on every plan, for Democratic and progressive campaigns.

Who can use it

Reach is Democratic and progressive-vetted, and Electbase follows that: the Reach card is not offered to campaigns in nonpartisan races. The link itself, of course, is yours to put anywhere.

Getting your join link

Your Reach campaign gives you a join link for bringing new users into your program. Copy it from your Reach admin, including the https:// at the start.

Putting it on your site

Any button or link on your site takes a web address: a button in the hero, a call-to-action band, an entry in the header navigation. In the editor, pick the one you want, paste your Reach join link into its link field, give it a label like "Join our Reach team", and publish. Visitors who click it land in Reach's own join flow, and you manage them inside Reach from there.

A good place for it is wherever you ask people to volunteer, since relational organizing is a volunteer ask.

What the Connections card is for

Reach also appears on your Connections page. Its card exists to say what this article says: hosted link, no API, no data path. There is nothing to paste and nothing to connect there, and the card can never read "Connected," because nothing flows. Your button is the connection.

Why there is no sync

Reach's live API has no endpoint for importing people, so there is nothing for Electbase to call. We check that periodically. If Reach ships one, this article will change; until then we won't promise a sync that does not exist.

Quick checklist

  1. Copy your Reach join link from your Reach admin.
  2. In the editor, paste it into a button's link field, label the button, and publish.
  3. Click the live button and check it lands in your Reach join flow.
Not legal advice. Electbase publishes the Help Center as general information for campaigns. Reach's features, fees, and terms change — confirm current details directly with Reach.
