Good to know
For candidates on the 2026 ballot. The pre-election reports are due 8 days before each election; the year-end report closes out the cycle. Reports are filed with the Kansas Public Disclosure Commission (KPDC, formerly the Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission). The pre-primary date is also the deadline to file an Affidavit of Exemption for candidates under the $1,000 threshold. Event-driven last-minute contribution reports (a single contribution of $300 or more after a pre-election report) are due 2026-07-30 (primary) and 2026-10-29 (general) and are not listed here.
Electbase compiles these dates from official state sources as a workflow aid. It is not legal advice. Confirm every deadline with your filing authority before you rely on it.
