Good to know
Full 2026 cycle for a state candidate committee. The four quarterly reports are mandatory for all committees; the 8-Day-Before and 30-Day-After election reports are required only if the committee spent money for that election. Missouri has NO 40-day-before report for the August 4 or November 3 elections. A low-activity committee may file a Statement of Limited Activity in lieu of a full report (except the 30-Day-After if debt exceeds $1,000). Weekend/holiday deadlines roll to the next business day EXCEPT reports due fewer than 8 days before an election. Event-driven: contributions over $5,000 (within 48 hrs) and over $250 within 12 days of an election (within 24 hrs) — not listed here.
Electbase compiles these dates from official state sources as a workflow aid. It is not legal advice. Confirm every deadline with your filing authority before you rely on it.
