Good to know

Standard path for a state/district candidate opposed in both the March 3 primary and November 3 general, with no runoff. Monthly reports are due 20 days after each month's end, suppressed for any month whose days are captured by a pre-election or final report (February and October are suppressed). No reports are required until contributions or expenditures exceed $500. CONDITIONAL variants (not listed here): an unopposed candidate files the February monthly (Mar 20) and a March monthly (Apr 20) instead of the pre-primary report; runoff participation (primary runoff March 31) adds a pre-election + final report pair. Weekend/holiday deadlines are already rolled to the next business day.
