Good to know
Louisiana's 2027 state cycle (Governor + all statewide + full legislature) — the state's real cycle, since Louisiana holds no state elections in 2026. Uses the October 9, 2027 jungle primary and November 20, 2027 general/runoff. The 180-day and 90-day pre-primary reports are required of MAJOR-office candidates and their PACs only; the 30-day and 10-day reports apply to all candidates. 'Any other office' candidates file only if over $5,000. A second Supplemental & Annual report (due February 15, 2029) applies to candidates who were in the general. Event-driven Special Reports (within 2 business days) apply in the windows before each election.
Electbase compiles these dates from official state sources as a workflow aid. It is not legal advice. Confirm every deadline with your filing authority before you rely on it.
